THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS TOUR: OCTOBER 18, 2007 – JANUARY 31, 2008
For the first time ever, Miley performs as both herself and Hannah Montana in the same epic show! With a special appearance by the Jonas Brothers – this concert tour was a nationwide hit! The tour had the most in-demand concert tickets in 2007; making parents and kids do anything for a seat in their local arena! The tour was choreographed and directed by director Kenny Ortega (High School Musical 3). The tour sparked controversy from Hannah’s body-double to the high demand tickets. The tour garnered $36 million in ticket sales from 2007/2008. With fans not being able to see the high-profile concert tour, Disney decided to create and release a movie of the concert (The Best of Both Worlds 3-D Concert Movie). Allowing fans to experience the concert in new heights. The movie was originally open for one weekend. However, due to opening at number 1 at the box office with record-setting sales… It remained in theaters for many more weeks. The tour brought Miley Cyrus’ name to a new status in her celebrity and even named her the new Teen Queen.
