Welcome back to Miley-Cyrus.Nu! The current design you are viewing is titled “Femme Fatale” and is a completely new look for us. The layout was discussed by the visitors a couple of weeks ago. I read through the comments and was pleased that you all agreed on the growth of Miley as well as the site.

My goal, for however long it takes, is to bring this site back to what it was before my long hiatus (those of you who have visited forever will know)… And this new layout is the start of that. My other goal is to make the site more of an interactive community between Miley’s fans. I love seeing you guys discuss and leave comments on the news posts and chat in the chat box – it shows a joining of our “Can’t Be Tamed” Queen! So if you guys have any ideas on how to make this site better for you guys to come on and interact with one another, please let me know! I want to begin preparing for the new layout. And I’m sure, for our constant visitors, you know I like getting your input on what to put up because the site is for you guys. By now, I’m sure you guys have noticed the site is back to what it was before my 3-4 month hiatus. More updates are made daily and I’ve been more active on our site’s Twitter.

So to celebrate Miley’s coming-of-age new music and style, I kind of want to do the same with the site. We’ve been up for over 2 years now and my style has changed along with Miley’s. You know how Miley’s been saying in interviews how she’s grown up and us fans have grown up with her? Well that’s true for this site as well! Honestly, I think this website caters more to/is visited most by her older/more mature fans. I’m sure you all have grown with her too!

All that said, I want to know what kind of layout you guys would like to see here. Would you guys like more of a sleek/clean design almost (not quite) like what this temporary layout is like? Or would you guys like to see it go back to those headers like the one late last summer or this past Christmas layout? My vote is for a sleeker look that would kind of grow out of this temporary design. Leave a comment on which you’d prefer to see when you visit the site.

So since January I’ve pretty much completely ignored you guys and the site. I got entirely too busy with school and applications for college. I’m a senior in high school right now with a job (Zumiez for those who know it) so my time’s pretty much taken up by those two things. I recently got accepted into The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. The time I spent away from websites, including this one, was preparing for that acceptance. I’m telling you this so now all of you know why the site’s been a ghost land and there hasn’t been much going on with it.

However, I would like to bring it back to how it was. I’m not saying I’ll update twice a day every day like I used to but I can give my word on trying to make those weekly updates. Take Page 51 for example. I could make weekly (sometimes more than once) updates that contain news, photos, and other things in one. Because looking back on that page (when you guys were hounding me for those Seventeen photos if you all remember) it was when people starting coming to the site and enjoying it. I definitely don’t want to take this site away from you guys and give you some random webmaster who will bring it down from where it’s been. And since this site has been my greatest to date, I don’t want to leave it.

Welcome to the latest version of MCnu! There are still things I need to fine tune and configure but I couldn’t wait any longer! So wait until tonight and everything will be perfect. This site is coming back and will begin to be the force it was before I had to take this hiatus. I cannot guarantee we will have daily updates but I can promise we will have them!

I’m snowed in for the weekend which gives me plenty of time to make a new layout for the site! It’s going to be kind of a new style. Visit BeyonceDaily.Org and think of something in that style. It’s a little more professional but I would tailor the style to fit Miley and the essence of this site. So it will have that fun feeling but in a more matured way, just like Miley herself. The reason why I want it different from what we’ve had for the past few months? – It’s 2010 and I’m growing and moving like Miley. I don’t have as much time to sit down and update the site so I want a layout that will be modern enough to last a little while. Let’s change!

So what do you want? A dark layout? A light/white one? Do you want it to feature The Last Song? Or maybe a favorite photoshoot? Is there a color you’d like to highlight? Maybe theme like Spring? Hello to all of this website’s visitors! You are currently viewing our newest layout version: Santa’s Town. Christmas is this coming week and I thought I’d like to have our very first Christmas-themed layout for the last one of the decade. Our previous layout lasted from August – December so I’m sure a bunch of you are happy for a change!

Updates have been slow for the site because I’ve personally been extremely busy. I can’t promise that updates will pick up regularly again until February. But we’ll see how all that works out! Our 2 year anniversary is coming up! What’re you getting us?

The Time of Our Lives is beginning to be released internationally. So far, I believe, it’s being distributed in the UK and Brazil. I never added this cover and I found it in highres so I thought you’d all like it! It’s really great-looking, I’d buy it just to have it.

On a side note, I know updates are really really slow. The reason they are, are: 1. Miley is on tour so right now she’s basically having fun touring; 2. Miley is doing lots of radio interviews on YouTube and I don’t really feel like overloading the site’s updates with YouTube videos; 3. I’m on my Senior year in high school so school, applications, friends, and activities are taking up the time I used to have online. I started a new layout so I just need to finish that and hopefully I’ll be able to do so soon.

Oh! And I was able to finally see Miley live last night during her Washington, D.C. stop. It was a really great show and she’s fantastic live. I’ll be posting my photos and fan photos I’ve received from other dates as soon as I can. Miley flying over me during I Love Rock and Roll was pretty epic.
