Miley is on top of the world, which is why others feel the need to say a few things. Mentioning her name gets theirs mentioned. I personally do not see trashy when I look at Miley. I see my little sister when I see Miley. She doesn’t do anything different from others her age.

The country music legend – who calls the star her honourary goddaughter – admitted she does not approve of the 18-year-old star’s recent provocative stage performances and is worried that the singer-and-actress is trying too hard to overcome her Disney image. She said: “Hopefully she didn’t get that from me because I certainly never encouraged her to do any of that… I think she’s just in a cross – she’s just kind of in a crosswinds trying to overcome the ‘Hannah Montana’ little girl, and trying to become a young woman.

The Disney star really came out of her shell this year and CNN has put her on the list of most provocative celebrities. It started with her increasingly steamy music videos for singles from her new album called “Can’t be Tamed” and worked itself into everyday life. She was seen wearing super skimpy clothes on-stage and off-stage and even had several wardrobe malfunctions. The Parents Television Council also took notice and slammed Miley saying, “Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fan base so rapidly.”

Miley is now 18 and it looks like she will continue to push the envelope of what is acceptable for a teenager to wear and how to act.

Miley Cyrus is to appear in the Waltons, no not the TV series, but in Walton County, Florida. The 18-year-old star has reportedly bought a $1.8 million beach front house at Fort Walton Beach, Walton County, Florida.

Miley was this week named by CNN as one of the most provocative celebrities of 2010 and the buying of this, during times of economic hardship and foreclosures will raise eyebrows perhaps amongst her myriad of young, working class fans across the globe. They had perhaps taken her at her word that she would live at home with her parents on their $6.2 million estate in LA until she was 20.

Perhaps she knew that some would not approve for she bought the house in secret last year. It maybe didn’t fit with her more homely image of a year ago but now that’s all changed as the new raunchy, provocative Miley takes centre stage. How could she possibly live at home with mum and dad whilst now portraying a teenage rebel image?

Miley will be welcomed with open arms to Walton County, and the city of Fort Walton. One thing’s for sure, you can bet your bottom dollar that the paparazzi are already finding vantage points with a good view of Fort Walton Beach in the hope of bikini shots and perhaps another of Miley’s famous wardrobe malfunctions.

Entertainment news source TMZ is reporting that pop star and “Hannah Montana” actress Miley Cyrus “secretly” purchased a $1.8 million beachfront condo in Walton County last December.

According to the report, the condo has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a gym and an entertainment room.

A search of property sale records on the Walton County property appraiser’s website shows that a condominium at 8334 County Road 30A was sold for $1.85 million on Dec. 29, 2009.

The condominium was sold by Andante Development LLC to William R. Sobel, trustee of the Sunshine Girl Trust of Nashville, Tenn. Sobel is an attorney who represents Cyrus, according to multiple news reports.

Not a day goes by that a Hollywood celebrity or wanna-be is exposed on the internet. Sex tapes, stolen nude pics, public nudity, magazine poses, the list goes on. Anything to satisfy the insatiable desires of starstruck fans … and perverts.

The younger and popular they are, the more likely the rave. Unscrupulous rumor mongers are always preying on these stars with the purpose of popularizing their blogs. Nothing like nude photos of celebrities to attract visitors to one’s website.

Recently, it was a fake semi-nude pic of Harry Potter actress Emma Watson. Now, Hannah Montana star and singer,Miley Cyrus is alleged to have posed naked for a self-taken photo using her iPhone. The photos were supposedly taken from her mobile phone which was stolen recently.

The 18-year-old singer is used to dressing provocatively on stage and now sites are claiming that she also sends nude pics of herself to her friends. The nude photo in question shows a woman standing at a bathroom door, wearing nothing but an open plaid shirt, phone in hand used to take the photo.

Having seen a censored version of the pic, I must say its credibility is questionable, especially since her face is not visible. However, many sites are determined to “prove” that the pictures are real.

Miley’s representatives have denied the photos are real and legal action is being considered. Since the photos were alleged to have been taken in Madrid before her 18th birthday, she was underaged then, and posting the pics would be illegal. Whoever posted the pics may be in trouble soon and probably broke by the time Mileys lawyers get through with him.

Miley Cyrus is reportedly considering legal action against Canadian blogger Zack Taylor after he posted a risque cellphone photo purported to be the 18-year-old Disney star wearing next to nothing, according to Popcrunch. Taylor later admitted the photo was fake, as the woman pictured was actually a British model. Cyrus’ reps reportedly maintained it wasn’t her because Cyrus’ tattoo under her left breast was not visible.

Back in September Miley Cyrus was accused of being pulled over for texting and driving and for getting into a hit and run accident. These two stories were then put together by tabloids in order to create a story that never happened. Miley Cyrus just can’t catch a break.

The fact that Miley Cyrus got into a fender bender is true. But it was not caused by her texting while driving.

What really happened is as follows:

Miley Cyrus was driving along one day being harrassed by the paparazzi. She was nervous and pulled over to call the police. When she pulled over the paparazzi started taking pictures of her on the phone talking to the police. When the cops showed up they then snapped some more pictures. They took all these pictures and used them to create a story that Miley Cyrus was pulled over for talking and texting on her phone.

This is how Miley explains it:

“I called the cops because the paparazzi started making me nervous while I was driving. So I pull over, the paparazzi get out and start taking pictures of me. The next day I read that I got ‘escorted home’ because I was on my cell phone.

Some tabloids just ran with the “Miley Cyrus gets pulled over for being on her cell phone” others ran with the story “Miley Cyrus gets in fender bender while texting.” Both of these stories were false and just show how unethical the tabloids are.

Tabloids take a hint of truth and add their own lies for a perfect recipe of trash journalism. It has been happening for years and will continue to happen. We just wanted to set the record straight.

But she’s since insisted there is no kissing involved, just “rocking out.”
In Los Angeles, the entertainer told the audience that she had dedicated My Heart Beats for Love to her gay fans.
“I wrote this for my gay fans,” she said during the song’s introduction. “Everyone has the right to love each other and no one should feel discriminated or judged for that.”

While Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus are often criticized because of their flamboyant spins on minimalist fashion, Helen Mirren counts them as women who are embracing their sexuality.

The soon-to-be 65-year-old actress told New York magazine that she’s “thrilled young girls are claiming their sexuality for themselves.”

The women she loves, Mirren said in the interview, are bold, like

“Madonna and Scarlett Johansson—sexy and gorgeous, but not only that. And Miley Cyrus – fantastic!”

The same exclamation can be applied to Lady Gaga.

“I love the way she’s elevated pop to performance art, or dragged performance art down to pop, or maybe made a wonderful amalgam of the two,” Mirren said.

“My dad gets to come to my concert for Father’s Day,” she joked to MTV News. “I just want to tell my dad, ‘Happy Father’s Day,’ and that I love him so much. And he’s the best dad in the world and I would definitely not be pursuing this dream without him ’cause he always taught me to keep going.”

On “Good Morning America” Friday, Cyrus admitted that she tends to do more for her mom in celebration of Mother’s Day. Whereas for Father’s Day, the pop star joked that she tends to run out to the store real quick to grab something for Billy Ray.

Miley also explained to us that she has her dad to thank for teaching her some valuable lessons about handling negative press.

“It’s about being who you are. My dad has been in the spotlight for 20 years now and still every time he walks his dog they’re saying, ‘Billy Ray picks up dog poop,’ ” she said of the close scrutiny celebrities endure. “It’s like, ‘That’s a law in California, folks.’ You gotta do what you gotta do. That’s life for you. That’s life in the spotlight — it’s never gonna change.”

Miley Cyrus is about to take another step in her burgeoning transition from child star to mainstream leading lady. The singer, whose Can’t Be Tamed album comes out on Monday, is in talks to star in the big-screen adaptation of the thriller “Wake,” part of a trilogy of young-adult paranormal novels written by Lisa McCann.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cyrus, 17, is attached to star in the film, which is being adapted for the screen by “Disturbia” co-writer Christopher Landon. (The movie is being co-produced by MTV Films.) “Wake” is the first in a trilogy of novels by McCann that chronicle the adventures of 17-year-old Janie, a teenager who has been able to see into other people’s dreams since she was 8 years old. For the most part, the dreams have been of the falling/drowning/forgetting-your-pants variety, but when she begins visiting the disturbing nightmares of a local pothead named Cabel, she realizes she that the only way to survive is to go from being a witness to an active participant.

The film has sequel potential, as the adventures of Janie and Cabel continue in the follow-up novels “Fade” and “Gone,” and all three New York Times best-sellers have been optioned by MTV Films and Paramount. According to the Reporter, Cyrus’ commitment to “Wake” is contingent on the finished script.

Yesterday, Miley Cyrus told us that she isn’t trying to dress “slutty” and that she wants people to buy her album “because of my music.”

Okay then. Let’s take Miley up on this premise.

The next single she’ll release off “Can’t Be Tamed” is titled “Liberty Walk” and it encourages listeners to “say goodbye to the people that tied you up.”

Its aim is to be an inspiring anthem, telling people “all that really matters are the steps you take.” Listen below and then sound off…
