Miley Cyrus announces her
2009 North American Tour! She is taking on a
45-date tour this coming fall with opening act:
Metro Station. The tour begins in
Portland, Oregan on
September 14 and ends in
Miami, Florida on
December 2nd! This tour seems to be just a
MILEY CYRUS tour
without Hannah Montana!
This time around, Miley will be using Ticketmaster to sell tickets for the tour. As opposed to 2007′s Best of Both Worlds Tour ticketing fiasco. Also, as a new experiment for fans and Ticketmaster, Ticketmaster will be doing their first Paperless Ticket Tour. To view more information on what that is/how it works click here. The MILEY CYRUS 2009 TOUR (yes, I coined that term right now) will have ticket prices ranging from US $39.50 – US $79.50 plus a service charge and maybe other fees. Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public on Saturday June 13, 2009 at 10 AM EST. MileyWorld.Com will have an exclusive presale on Monday 8, 2009 at 10 AM EST and an American Express presale is going to be on Wednesday June 10, 2009 10 AM EST – Friday June 12, 2009 10 PM EST. Please note: you can ONLY purchase 4 tickets per show. The seating chart for the tour seems VERY exciting. You can view an example of it here (Washington, D.C.’s seating chart).
The tour is being sponsored by Walmart and BCBG designer Max Azria. Miley is currently working with Azria on an upcoming apparel line to launch in Walmart stores in August. According to OceanUP, the line will include tops, pants, graphic tees, shoes and accessories, offered at reasonable prices.
